How do I get my stamp ready before using it?

Before stamping your envelopes, move the bottom portion of the self-inking stamp up and down quickly several times to get it inked. Test it a few times on regular printer or copy paper before moving to your actual mail. Doing this before each use gives you a chance to check the impression first.

How do I get an even impression on an envelope?

Place one envelope at a time on a flat surface with the flap folded out from underneath it. Use one hand to press down at the center of the stamp, holding it for a few seconds without applying too much pressure. You can also place a piece of paper or cardstock beneath the envelope for support.

Can I stamp glossy or coated envelopes?

Yes, but test one envelope before stamping the rest. Ink sits on top of glossy and coated papers rather than absorbing immediately, so it may smear if touched too soon. Give the impression enough time to dry before handling the envelope.

Can I return my stamp if I change my mind?

Because products are made to order, returns and exchanges are not accepted. If Boutique Stamps & Gifts made an error with your order, contact us within five business days of receiving it so the issue can be addressed.
